Mazatzal Casino is accepting applications for the following positions until filled. Applications will only be accepted for the posted positions.


Hotel Manager

Description:  This position is responsible for managing all Hotel Operations. The Hotel Manager directs and oversees the following areas: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Hotel Maintenance, Laundry, and Sales /Conference Services.



  • AA/AS two year degree or Combination of comparable size property experience.
  • No less than 2 years Hotel General Management experience required.
  • Strong professional emphasis on sales is required.
  • Mathematical aptitude and financial acumen.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems, including configuration and CRS Systems.
  • Micros Opera experience a plus.
  • Prior Indian Gaming experience in a Casino resort or Indian Gaming establishment recommended.


Job Description (not limited to): Create annual budgets and compare results on a monthly basis. Work with Hospitality Director on planning and forecasting strategies. Manage and track all event and group bookings. Ensure the Hotel Maintenance Database is up to date and accurate. Verify hotel procedures are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. Perform weekly property inspections and report results to the Hospitality Director. Generate monthly hotel statistics on ADR, room revenue, and revpar for the Hospitality Director. Native American Preference applies.

Guest Services Represntative (Front Desk) FT Swing Shift (2 - 10)


  • Receive room reservations from guest either in person, over the phone, fax, or email.
  • Assign suites to arriving guests on a daily basis.
  • Check-in guests upon arrival, meeting their special requests whenever possible, and checking –out guests.
  • Provide directions to guest to local destinations.
  • Maintains supplies for front desk area.
  • Inform guests of the amenities at the Hotel and Casino. Assist them in making reservations for our other venues as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Take guest messages as needed.
  •  Perform cashier duties, maintain cash drawer and process credit cards at POS terminal, etc.
  • Calculate guests’ bills and issue receipts upon payment.
  • Handle and direct incoming phone calls on a multi-line phone system.


Guest Room Attendant  Hotel PT Days/Weekends


  • Responsible for all cleaning hotel procedures per housekeeping standards.
  • Some responsibilities include:  removal of all trash, wiping down of room furniture, vacuuming floors, wiping-dusting/polishing mirrors and bathroom facilities.  Mopping and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Maintain all chemical bottles and know where MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) are posted.
  • Must be able to prioritize room cleaning by check-outs or stay-overs.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and keeping them in an orderly manner.


Security FT Graveyard Shift/Weekends


 Following Security department procedures, works to ensure protection of company assets and safety of customers and employees. Security personnel will have training in first responder duties.



  • Observes and reports incidents, procedure violations, or criminal activities as they arise.
  • Creates a safe, friendly environment for customers and employees.
  • Safeguards property assets.
  • Able to train and know First Responder duties.
  • Must complete, after hire, various training programs, such as CPR, first aid, and defensive tactics.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned


 Table Games Dealer FT Day/Swing

JOB SUMMARY: Under direction of the Table Games Supervisor, be responsible for all aspects of dealing specific games during an assigned shift. This includes the handling of cash, chips and cards in adherence to prevailing policies and procedures, departmental internal controls and all applicable governmental regulations. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and employees.



  • Must provide and promote exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain security of casino assets.
  • Deal a standardized, smooth and mechanically efficient game.
  • Maintain control of the game including protection, pace and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies.
  • Be knowledgeable of all casino promotions and amenities and be able to communicate this information to our guests.
  • Perform other job related duties as determined by the Table Games Manager.



  • Prior dealing experience and/or professional training certificate required.
  • Must be able to pass an audition.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Schedule flexibility.


Bingo Clerk/Caller PT Tuesdays/Thursdays


  • Responsible for the daily cleaning and inspection of the bingo balls prior to putting them into play.
  • Assures that bingo blower and ball drop machine is in good working order prior to start of game.
  • Performs minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Review program of scheduled games to aid in proper announcing of upcoming and in process game activity. Will insure that the television monitors and cameras are operating correctly.
  • Working in conjunction with the floor worker the caller will verify all bingo "wins" by insuring each number read from the winning card corresponds to numbers with-in the bingo rack.
  • Sales clerk both counter and floor.
  • Bingo Verifier for the floor.


Transportation Clerk FT (32 Hours) $10.00

Essential Job Functions:

  • Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display strong organizational skills
  • Must have good computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Display ability to learn Aristocrat Oasis Casino Management System
  • Must be able to receive/coordinate patron bus reservations  
  • Must be able to schedule commercial bus services with approved bussing services 
  • Must be able to vet bussing manifests to ensure patrons eligibility 
  • Display ability to increase bussing patron participation  
  • Display ability to work in Players Club if required 
  • Be familiar with all Casino Events/Promotions and effectively communicate to patrons 
  • Must be able to work various hours, as needed, including weekends and holidays 




Cocktail Servers FT/PT Shifts are usually afternoon/evenings/weekends

  • Takes orders and presents food to guests.
  • Prior cooking and customer service skills in QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) environment.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Keeps Grille area clean and stocked.
  • Monitors inventory levels and notifies supervisor on replenishment needs.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
