Mazatzal Casino is accepting applications for the following positions until filled. Applications will only be accepted for the posted positions.


Hotel Manager

Description:  This position is responsible for managing all Hotel Operations. The Hotel Manager directs and oversees the following areas: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Hotel Maintenance, Laundry, and Sales /Conference Services.



  • AA/AS two year degree or Combination of comparable size property experience.
  • No less than 2 years Hotel General Management experience required.
  • Strong professional emphasis on sales is required.
  • Mathematical aptitude and financial acumen.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems, including configuration and CRS Systems.
  • Micros Opera experience a plus.
  • Prior Indian Gaming experience in a Casino resort or Indian Gaming establishment recommended.


Job Description (not limited to): Create annual budgets and compare results on a monthly basis. Work with Hospitality Director on planning and forecasting strategies. Manage and track all event and group bookings. Ensure the Hotel Maintenance Database is up to date and accurate. Verify hotel procedures are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. Perform weekly property inspections and report results to the Hospitality Director. Generate monthly hotel statistics on ADR, room revenue, and revpar for the Hospitality Director. Native American Preference applies.

Guest Service Representative Hotel FT Swing Shift


  • Receive room reservations from guest either in person, over the phone, fax, or email.
  • Assign suites to arriving guests on a daily basis.
  • Check-in guests upon arrival, meeting their special requests whenever possible, and checking –out guests.
  • Provide directions to guest to local destinations.
  • Maintains supplies for front desk area.
  • Inform guests of the amenities at the Hotel and Casino. Assist them in making reservations for our other venues as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Take guest messages as needed.
  •  Perform cashier duties, maintain cash drawer and process credit cards at POS terminal, etc.
  • Calculate guests’ bills and issue receipts upon payment.
  • Handle and direct incoming phone calls on a multi-line phone system.


Guest Room Attendant  Hotel FT Days/Weekends


  • Responsible for all cleaning hotel procedures per housekeeping standards.
  • Some responsibilities include:  removal of all trash, wiping down of room furniture, vacuuming floors, wiping-dusting/polishing mirrors and bathroom facilities.  Mopping and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Maintain all chemical bottles and know where MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) are posted.
  • Must be able to prioritize room cleaning by check-outs or stay-overs.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and keeping them in an orderly manner.


Slot Attendant Graveyard Shift (32 hours)


  • Responsible for assisting with machine paper fills as necessary.
  • Handles minor machine problems such as paper jams, bill validator jams etc. reports all other equipment problems to the slot technician.
  • Completes accurate records listing repairs accomplished in accordance with established policies.
  • Required continuously rotating the casino floor and providing a high level of customer service during shift.
  • Assists with promotions and special projects.
  • Preventative maintenance on assigned machines.
  • Must be able to listen for and respond promptly to radio calls.
  • Provides excellent customer service, listens to patrons needs and complies with casino guidelines to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduled time in the Tiger’s Gaming Lounge.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.




Barista Afternoons/Weekends 


Hostess Afternoons/Weekends


Grille Cook Shift TBD


  • Takes orders and presents food to guests.
  • Prior cooking and customer service skills in QSR (Quick Serve Restaurant) environment.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Keeps Grille area clean and stocked.
  • Monitors inventory levels and notifies supervisor on replenishment needs.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
